I was really moved when I saw this. Any religion, any culture, which casts a blind eye on this behavior or even worse condones it cannot be considered a peaceful one by any stretch of the imagination. You would seriously need to completely turn on end what it is you consider right and wrong. You would have to be worshiping death.
